Winner Group Enterprise Q4 profit falls YOY

Winner Group Enterprise Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter came to 4 satang per share, a decrease of 24.9% from 5 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 16.1 million baht, a decline of 24.9% from 21.5 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 4.0% from 5.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 7.1% year over year to 424.5 million baht from 396.5 million baht, and total operating expenses rose 8.7% on an annual basis to 381.3 million baht from 350.7 million baht.

Reported net income declined 22.6% on an annual basis to 21.0 million baht, or 5 satang per share, from 27.1 million baht, or 7 satang per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 17 satang per share, an increase of 15.0% from 15 satang per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 69.4 million baht, a rise of 15.0% from 60.3 million baht in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue totaled 1.45 billion baht, compared with 1.44 billion baht in the prior year, and total operating expenses came to 1.34 billion baht, compared with 1.34 billion baht in the year-earlier period.

The company said reported net income grew 16.3% on an annual basis to 89.0 million baht, or 22 satang per share, in the full year, from 76.5 million baht, or 19 satang per share.

As of Feb. 29, US$1 was equivalent to 35.64 baht.
