The board of directors of Stamford, Conn.-based First County Bank promoted Robert Granata to chairman and CEO and Willard Miley to president and COO of the company, effective Aug. 1.

The promotions concluded a transition from the announced retirement of Reyno Giallongo Jr. as chairman and CEO.

Granata joined First County Bank in 2007 and has been the company's president and COO since 2014. He was also recently named to the bank's board. Miley was previously executive vice president of retail banking.
