Faltec Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 was ¥96.87 per share, a decrease of 12.6% from ¥110.88 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥906.3 million, a decrease of 11.6% from ¥1.03 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 4.0% from 4.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew on an annual basis to ¥22.91 billion from ¥22.32 billion, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to ¥21.62 billion from ¥20.73 billion.
Reported net income rose 28.0% from the prior-year period to ¥1.26 billion, or ¥135.15 per share, from ¥988.1 million, or ¥106.85 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥236.56 per share, a decrease from ¥239.02 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥2.20 billion, compared with ¥2.21 billion in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue rose on an annual basis to ¥79.74 billion from ¥77.39 billion, and total operating expenses increased year over year to ¥76.50 billion from ¥74.07 billion.
The company said reported net income grew 15.1% on an annual basis to ¥2.40 billion, or ¥258.28 per share, in the full year, from ¥2.08 billion, or ¥225.34 per share.
