Former Devon Energy executive named Enerplus COO

Enerplus Corp. named Wade Hutchings senior vice president and COO, effective Feb. 11, according to a Jan. 16 news release.

Hutchings most recently served as senior vice president of exploration and production at Devon Energy Corp. between 2017 and 2019.

In addition, the company announced that its senior vice president of operations, people and culture, Ray Daniels, will retire in April.

Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Enerplus explores for and develops crude oil and natural gas in the U.S. and Canada.
