Exelon units seek 700 MW of capacity in PJM

Five Exelon Corp. utilities issued a joint-utility request for proposals seeking a combined unforced capacity of about 700 MW from winter resources, according to a March 27 company release.

Atlantic City Electric Co., Baltimore Gas and Electric Co., Commonwealth Edison Co., Delmarva Power & Light Co., and Potomac Electric Power Co. plan to combine the winter resources with their summer resources to offer them as capacity performance resources into PJM Interconnection's scheduled May 2017 base residual auction.

More information on the RFP is available at the Ariba platform. Interested bidders may submit their contact information via www.bge.com/cpaggregation to gain access on the platform.

Responses must be submitted by April 5.
