McDonald's grosses $1.75 billion from debt offering

McDonald's Corp. raised gross proceeds of $1.75 billion from an offering of 4.875% senior unsecured notes due Dec. 9, 2045.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and repurchase of securities.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, SG Americas Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

ANZ Securities Inc., Barclays Capital Inc., Blaylock Beal Van LLC, BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Drexel Hamilton LLC, HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., ING Financial Markets LLC, Lebenthal & Co.
