Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA on Jan. 25 issued a total of €7 billion bonds, guaranteed by the Italian government.
One bond has a nominal value of €3 billion and carries a coupon of 0.5%. These notes will mature Jan. 20, 2018.
The other bond has a nominal value of €4 billion, carries a coupon of 0.75% and will mature Jan. 25, 2020.
The bonds will be distributed on the market or used as collateral for funding operations during 2017, Banca Monte dei Paschi said.
