EQT Midstream director resigns upon appointment as Southwestern Energy exec

Julian Bott has been named Southwestern Energy Co.'s executive vice president and CFO, effective March 5. In connection with his appointment, Bott has resigned from his post on the board of EQT Midstream Services LLC and as a member of the board's audit committee on Feb. 25.

On Feb. 26, Stephen Thorington was appointed to the board of EQT Midstream Services, the general partner of EQT Midstream Partners LP. He will also serve as a member of the board's audit committee, according to a Form 8-K filed Feb. 27.

Thorington currently serves as chairman of the audit committees of EQT Corp. and EQT GP Services LLC.

Southwestern is an oil and gas driller with operations in Appalachia and in the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas while EQT Corp. is an integrated energy company with emphasis on Appalachian area natural gas production, gathering, and transmission.
