Bizim Toptan Satis Magazalari AS said its fourth-quarter normalized net income amounted to 10 kurus per share, compared with a loss of 3 kurus per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 5.6 million lira, compared with a loss of 2.1 million lira in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 0.8% from negative 0.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 15.6% on an annual basis to 689.2 million lira from 596.0 million lira, and total operating expenses climbed 13.5% year over year to 671.6 million lira from 591.5 million lira.
Reported net income came to 5.4 million lira, or 9 kurus per share, compared to a loss of 3.7 million lira, or a loss of 6 kurus per share, in the prior-year period.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 22 kurus per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 25 kurus.
EPS rose 33.6% from 17 kurus in the prior year.
Normalized net income was 13.3 million lira, an increase of 33.6% from 9.9 million lira in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 12.5% from the prior-year period to 2.56 billion lira from 2.28 billion lira, and total operating expenses grew 12.4% year over year to 2.51 billion lira from 2.23 billion lira.
The company said reported net income increased 32.0% on an annual basis to 14.4 million lira, or 24 kurus per share, in the full year, from 10.9 million lira, or 18 kurus per share.
