Talk show host Charlie Rose suspended amid sexual harassment claims

CBS Corp.'s CBS (US) suspended longtime television journalist Charlie Rose, while Bloomberg LP and PBS (US) stopped the distribution of his "Charlie Rose" show amid claims of sexual harassment, The Washington Post reported Nov. 20.

The suspension comes as Rose was accused by eight women of harassing them sexually. Rose's show airs on PBS and Bloomberg Television (US) TV. He also co-hosts "CBS This Morning" and is a contributing correspondent for "60 Minutes."

Rose, meanwhile, apologized for his "inappropriate behavior" and said he was "greatly embarrassed."
