DSK Bank completes acquisition of SocGen's Bulgarian unit

Hungary-based OTP Bank Nyrt. announced Jan. 16 the completion of Bulgarian unit DSK Bank's acquisition of 99.74% of Bulgaria-based Societe Generale Expressbank AD, as well as other local units of Société Générale SA.

The initial acquisition agreement between the companies was signed Aug. 1, 2018, and the merger was completed Jan. 15. The integration process to due to be completed in 2020, OTP Bank said.
