Former Schlumberger CEO named Borr Drilling chairman

Former Schlumberger Ltd. CEO Pål Kibsgaard was appointed as the new chairman of Borr Drilling Ltd., replacing Tor Olav Trøim.

Trøim, who will now serve as deputy chairman, will remain a director, according to an Oct. 8 news release from Borr Drilling.

Kibsgaard was elected as a director of Borr Drilling during an annual general meeting in September.
