Search and discovery services provider Algolia SAS secured $110 million in a series C funding round led by venture capital firm Accel.
Additional investment was provided by Salesforce Ventures as well as other firms, the company said Oct. 15. Alven Capital Partners, DAG Ventures LLC, Founders Circle Capital LLC, Owl Rock Capital, Saastr Fund Management, L.L.C. and Wil LLC also participated in the funding round.
Following the investment, Accel partner Nate Niparko joined Algolia's board of directors.
Algolia will use the funds to support global expansion across the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific. The company will also use the funds to support its research and development teams.
Algolia provides Search-as-a-Service for businesses to take control of how people search, discover, and find their products and content.
