MetLife Inc. has appointed Bill O'Donnell executive vice president and U.S. CFO.
He will replace Marlene Debel, who will assume the roles of executive vice president and head of the insurer's retirement and income solutions business.
O'Donnell is currently MetLife's chief accounting officer. He will continue in that role until a successor is announced. Heather Bertellotti Phelps will serve as interim U.S. CFO until a new chief accounting officer is named, and will also continue as senior vice president and CFO for group benefits.
