DCM Holdings fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

DCM Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, came to ¥14.07 per share, a decrease of 10.9% from ¥15.79 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.92 billion, a decrease of 12.4% from ¥2.20 billion in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.8% from 2.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥104.03 billion from ¥107.13 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to ¥100.88 billion from ¥103.56 billion.

Reported net income fell 10.3% from the prior-year period to ¥1.78 billion, or ¥12.99 per share, from ¥1.98 billion, or ¥14.24 per share.

As of Jan. 9, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.86.
