Aena SME SA said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter was €1.19 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of €1.64 per share.
EPS climbed 35.9% year over year from 88 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €179.3 million, a gain of 36.4% from €131.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 20.7% from 16.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 6.7% year over year to €868.2 million from €813.7 million, and total operating expenses totaled €555.3 million, compared with €550.6 million in the prior-year period.
Reported net income grew 13.1% from the prior-year period to €219.7 million, or €1.46 per share, from €194.4 million, or €1.30 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled €5.52 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of €7.12.
EPS rose from €4.29 in the prior year.
Normalized net income was €828.3 million, a gain from €642.8 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased year over year to €3.72 billion from €3.46 billion, and total operating expenses totaled €2.29 billion, compared with €2.27 billion in the prior-year period.
The company said reported net income grew year over year to €1.16 billion, or €7.76 per share, in the full year, from €833.5 million, or €5.56 per share.
