South Korean President Moon Jae-in nominated Eun Sung-soo, chairman and president of Export-Import Bank of Korea, to be the next chairman of the Financial Services Commission, replacing outgoing FSC Chairman Choi Jong-ku, according to an Aug. 9 release.
Eun, a former official of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, brings a financial bureaucrat background to the FSC.
The South Korean president's office did not say who would succeed Eun at Export-Import Bank of Korea.
