EDF Renewables, Narada to collaborate on battery storage projects in China

A subsidiary of EDF Renewables Inc. signed a cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Narada Power Source Co. Ltd. to carry out battery storage projects in China.

Under the agreement, the companies plan to expand a 1.5-MW/12-MWh energy storage project, located in China's Jiangsu province. EDF Renewables China acquired the Zhenjiang project from Zhejiang Narada Power in September 2018.

The functional expansion would see the project supply 12,000 kWh of electricity every day to a nearby industrial park.

EDF Renewables is a subsidiary of France's EDF Group. Zhejiang Narada Power is a Narada Holdings Co. Ltd. subsidiary.
