Bergbahnen Engelberg-Trübsee-Titlis AG said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended April 30 was CHF8.9 million, a rise of 51.7% from CHF5.9 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue climbed 8.6% on an annual basis to CHF31.8 million from CHF29.3 million, and total operating expenses grew 7.2% on an annual basis to CHF26.9 million from CHF25.1 million.
Reported net income totaled CHF12.3 million, compared with CHF7.9 million in the year-earlier period.
