Peak Utility Services expands footprint with buy of Utility Sales & Service

Denver, Colo.-based Peak Utility Services Group Inc. expanded its subsidiary, SiteWise LLC, with the acquisition of Utility Sales & Service Inc., according to an Aug. 1 news release.

Utility Sales & Service provides electric and water metering services for investor-owned and cooperative utilities. It will become a division of SiteWise, a provider of utility construction services.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Utility Sales & Service is led by its founder Pat Arias and Michael Arias. In conjunction with the deal, Pat Arias will be retiring, while Michael Arias and the existing management team will continue to lead daily operations and provide strategic direction alongside SiteWise.

Denver-based Peak Utility Services Group is a provider of maintenance, repair, upgrade and installation services for the telecom, electric and natural gas infrastructure markets in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West regions of the U.S. It was acquired by ORIX Corp. unit ORIX Capital Partners LLC in July 2018.
