Venture capital firm DCM adds 2 partners

Early-stage global venture capital firm DCM, which invests in technology companies, expanded its team to seven partners across its three geographic locations in the U.S., China and Japan with the promotions of Kyle Lui and Ray Zhao.

Lui, based in the U.S., was co-founder and CEO of ChoicePass Inc. before joining DCM in 2014, while Zhao, based in China, joined DCM in 2014 from Tencent Investment.

DCM said it was the first firm based in California's Silicon Valley to start investing in China in 1999 and the only major U.S. firm with a presence in U.S., China and Japan, three of the largest technology markets.
