San Antonio-based iHeartMedia Inc. unveiled a new organizational structure for its Markets Group in a bid to modernize the company amid its investments in technology and artificial intelligence.
In a statement, the mass media company said the Markets Group will have three different divisions, namely the Region Division, headed by Division Presidents Kevin LeGrett and Scott Hopeck, the Metro Division, headed by Division Presidents Tom McConnell, Tony Coles and Linda Byrd, and the Community Division, headed by Division Presidents Shosh Abromovich, Nick Gnau and Dan Lankford.
Greg Ashlock will continue to lead iHeartMedia Markets Group as president, the company said Jan. 14. IHeartMedia will also create cross-market Multi-Market Partnerships Division, led by Julie Donohue.
The company will be merging its Integrated Revenue Strategies group, headed by President Hartley Adkins, with the Markets Group. Adkins will lead the Markets Group as COO.
The company is also laying off a "relatively small" number of employees as part of the restructuring process, Variety reports, citing Country Aircheck and All Access.
