Walmart Inc. is looking to expand its grocery delivery membership program to over 1,400 stores across the U.S. later this fall, according to Sept. 12 release.
The option called Delivery Unlimited allows shoppers to receive unlimited Walmart grocery delivery orders for an annual fee of $98 or $12.95 on a monthly basis.
Walmart said customers will continue to have the option to pay a per-delivery fee without a membership.
The retail giant initially tested the program in Houston; Miami; Salt Lake City; and Tampa, Fla., earlier in 2019, and now plans to expand it to all locations where its grocery delivery services are already available.
Walmart said it expects to roll out Delivery Unlimited in over 1,600 stores, or more than half of the U.S., by the end of the year.
