Macarthur Minerals applies for 3 more exploration licenses in Western Australia

said April 13 thatit has applied for three additional exploration licenses in the Pilbara and Ravensthorperegions of Western Australia, expanding its potential tenement area to 1,192 squarekilometers.

The new Pilbaraexploration license application E45/4735 covers an area of 16 square kilometers.It is proximate to the company's existing application E45/4732 and the lithium projectsof ASX-listed Altura Mining Ltd.and Pilbara Minerals Ltd.,which recently raised C$100 million to develop its Pilgangoora lithium-tantalumproject.

On the otherhand, the new Ravensthorpe exploration license applications E74/587 and E74/588are located within the Cocanarup terrane.

To date, MacArthurholds 13 exploration license applications covering a total of 1,192 square kilometersacross Pilgangoora, the Eastern Pilbara Ravensthorpe and the Mid West regions ofWestern Australia.

Looking forward,the company will initially undertake geological reconnaissance to locate outcroppingpegmatites with the assistance of CSA Global. MacArthur will then proceed with mapping,sampling and drilling in certain areas of the license applications.
