Howard Hughes makes $53M purchase in The Woodlands, Texas

Howard Hughes Corp. bought two vacant class A office buildings located adjacent to its Hughes Landing development in The Woodlands masterplanned community north of downtown Houston in a $53 million deal.

The two buildings, four and six stories tall, respectively, total 257,025 of rentable square feet. The deal also includes excess land that allows for the development of an additional office building.

The properties were sold by their owner and occupier. Howard Hughes plans to secure tenants for the buildings as soon as possible following the purchase.
