Investor lowers stake in Independent Bank Group to 3.9%

LEP Carlile Holdings LLC, Thomas Lee and related entities lowered their stake in McKinney, Texas-based Independent Bank Group Inc. to 3.9% from 5.5%.

The stake represents 1,096,796 shares of the company's common stock, after the institutional investor sold 450,000 common shares March 8.

On April 11, 2017, the investors declared a 7.0% stake but sold 386,699 common shares for $62.40 apiece in an underwritten public offering Dec. 6, 2017, reducing their stake to 5.5%.
