Truong Long Engineering & Auto Q2 profit climbs YOY

Truong Long Engineering & Auto JSC said its normalized net income for the second quarter was 2,908.46 dong per share, an increase from 380.48 dong per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 34.90 billion dong, a gain from 4.57 billion dong in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 6.4% from 3.7% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to 545.76 billion dong from 122.50 billion dong, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to 497.12 billion dong from 123.17 billion dong.

Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to 43.53 billion dong, or 3,627.33 dong per share, from 5.36 billion dong, or 446.83 dong per share.

As of July 20, US$1 was equivalent to 21,823.50 dong.
