White Gold drills new high-grade gold on namesake property in northern Canada

White Gold Corp. discovered high-grade gold mineralization at the Ryan's Showing target, 2 kilometers west of its flagship Golden Saddle deposit at the White Gold property in Canada's Yukon Territory.

Reverse circulation drilling intersected 20.64 g/t of gold over 6.10 meters from a depth of 83.82 meters in the discovery hole, with drilling 100 meters to the west of that returning 5.02 g/t of gold over 13.17 meters from 121.92 meters, including 9.25 g/t of gold over 4.57 meters.

"We have recognized the potential of satellite deposits near the Golden Saddle which would have the potential to greatly increase the size of the company's resource," said Jodie Gibson, the company's vice president of exploration.

According to the Sept. 6 release, the company continues drill testing on similar targets as part of a program focused on increasing White Gold resources, which comprise 961,000 ounces of gold in the indicated category and 282,500 ounces of gold in the inferred category.
