Nice Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to a loss of ¥44.54 per share, compared with ¥12.57 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥417.9 million, compared with income of ¥119.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin fell to negative 0.8% from 0.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 20.4% on an annual basis to ¥55.14 billion from ¥69.29 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 19.2% on an annual basis to ¥55.65 billion from ¥68.85 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥789.0 million, or a loss of ¥84.10 per share, compared to income of ¥1.0 million, or 11 sen per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
