Greenman Investments fund buys €143M of German food retail properties

Food retail real estate investment manager Greenman Investments acquired €143 million worth of food retail properties in Germany on behalf of its Greenman OPEN fund, IPE Real Assets reported.

The company bought four MIOS centers for €25 million via a sale and leaseback deal with EDEKA MiHa and purchased a portfolio of 29 EDEKA MiHa supermarkets worth €118 million from TLG Immobilien AG, the March 25 report added.

The volume of Greenman OPEN's assets now stands at €570 million, making it the largest food retail-focused investment fund in Germany, the publication reported.
