U.S.-based asset manager Eaton Vance Corp. launched an office in Dublin, Ireland, as part of its preparations for the U.K.'s departure from the European Union, The Irish Times reported, citing the company.
Eaton Vance said the Dublin office, which will be headed by portfolio manager Aidan Farrell, will manage a range of global and international equity portfolios.
The company, which has been operating in London since 2005, said the launch of the office was to assure its clients in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and around the world of a "smooth transition to a post-Brexit operating environment."
