Komputronik fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Komputronik SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to 26 groszy per share, a decrease of 64.6% from 72 groszy per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 2.5 million zlotys, a decrease of 64.6% from 6.9 million zlotys in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 0.4% from 1.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 7.1% year over year to 615.9 million zlotys from 663.2 million zlotys, and total operating expenses declined 5.7% from the prior-year period to 611.0 million zlotys from 647.8 million zlotys.

Reported net income fell 65.4% from the prior-year period to 3.5 million zlotys, or 36 groszy per share, from 10.0 million zlotys, or 1.04 zlotys per share.

As of Feb. 15, US$1 was equivalent to 3.95 zlotys.
