Nasdaq extends acceptance period for offer to acquire Oslo Børs

Nasdaq AB extended the acceptance period for its offer to acquire all of the issued shares of Norwegian stock exchange operator Oslo Børs VPS Holding ASA to 5:30 p.m. Central European Time on April 30.

The offer was initially set to expire March 29 at 5:30 p.m. CET.

Nasdaq Inc., through its indirect subsidiary Nasdaq AB, offered to acquire Oslo Børs for 158 Norwegian kroner per share, or approximately 6.80 billion kroner.

Euronext NV, which is also seeking to acquire Oslo Børs, earlier announced the extension of its offer to no later than 6 p.m. Amsterdam time on April 1.

As of March 22, US$1 was equivalent to 8.57 Norwegian kroner.
