Ardian, Skellefteå Kraft sign contract for Swedish wind farm output

Swedish power company Skellefteå Kraft AB signed a 10-year contract to purchase approximately one-third of the output of the Åndberg wind farm in Åndberg/Härjedalen, Sweden. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Owned by investment firm Ardian, the Åndberg wind project is under construction and is expected to come online in 2022. It will have a capacity of more than 280 MW, according to an Oct. 1 company news release.

Ardian purchased the wind project in February for €300 million.
