Amaze Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Nov. 30, 2015, amounted to ¥228.1 million, an increase from ¥81.3 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin rose to 7.7% from 2.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 5.7% on an annual basis to ¥2.95 billion from ¥2.79 billion, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to ¥2.49 billion from ¥2.59 billion.
Reported net income decreased 83.4% on an annual basis to ¥210.0 million, or ¥13.81 per share, from ¥1.26 billion.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥55.50 per share, a decrease of 32.3% from ¥81.97 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥843.8 million, a gain of 35.4% from ¥623.1 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased year over year to ¥10.91 billion from ¥10.68 billion, and total operating expenses fell year over year to ¥9.23 billion from ¥9.42 billion.
The company said reported net income fell 54.1% year over year to ¥808.0 million, or ¥53.14 per share, in the full year, from ¥1.76 billion, or ¥231.65 per share.
