Riversgold acquires copper-gold property in South Australia, plans drilling

Riversgold Ltd. acquired Exploration Release Area 943, also known as the Burt Lagoon property, southeast of its Churchill Dam copper-gold-uranium project in South Australia.

The company said June 12 that its exploration license application for Burt Lagoon was granted by the government as EL6162.

Burt Lagoon hosts a geochemical target covering 50 square kilometers with mineralization including copper, gold, uranium and rare earths.

Riversgold is planning data compilation and interpretation ahead of infill geochemical surveying to define drill targets.

The company is also completing a heritage survey to enable drill testing of a large target at Churchill Dam in the second half.
