Webjet Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to 12 Australian cents per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 15 cents per share.
EPS rose 16.5% year over year from 10 cents.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$9.7 million, an increase of 18.6% from A$8.2 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 26.8% year over year to A$73.8 million from A$58.2 million, and total operating expenses climbed 30.2% on an annual basis to A$58.5 million from A$44.9 million.
Reported net income increased 17.2% from the prior-year period to A$10.7 million, or 13 cents per share, from A$9.1 million, or 11 cents per share.
