Chelsea State Bank names successor to retiring president

The board of Chelsea, Mich.-based Chelsea State Bank named Joanne Rau the bank's next president.

Rau will begin as president Oct. 1. At that time, current Chelsea State Bank President David Schaible will become president ex officio and retire at the end of 2019. John Mann will remain CEO.

Rau's banking experience includes serving as senior vice president and business banking executive for Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bank, a unit of Fifth Third Bancorp.

Chelsea State Bank is a subsidiary of CSB Bancorp Inc.
