Fifth Third Bancorp offering $750M notes

Fifth Third Bancorp is offering up to $750 million aggregate principal amount of 2.375% senior notes due Jan. 28, 2025.

Interest payments will be made Jan. 28 and July 28 of each year, with the first payment to be made Jan. 28, 2020. The company projects proceeds before expenses of $747.2 million.

The company can redeem the notes, in whole or in part, on or after April 25, 2020, and prior to Dec. 29, 2024.

The settlement date is Oct. 28.

RBC Capital Markets LLC, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are acting as joint book-running managers of the offering. Fifth Third Securities Inc. is acting as co-manager.
