Bank of China appoints EVP

The board of Bank of China Ltd. approved the appointment of Lin Jingzhen as an executive vice president of the lender.

Lin, who joined Bank of China in 1987, was most recently deputy CEO of BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Ltd. and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd. from May 2015 to January.

Lin's qualification as an executive vice president will be subject to approval from the China Banking Regulatory Commission.
