Jinxin Fertility obtained an undisclosed strategic investment from a group of backers led by Warburg Pincus Asia LLC and CNCB (Hong Kong) Investment Co. Ltd., China Money Network reported, citing a statement from Warburg Pincus.
Venture capital firm Sequoia Capital China and Shanghai-based biotechnology company WuXi AppTec Co. Ltd. also participated.
Following the transaction, Warburg Pincus and CNCB will be the second- and third-largest shareholders, respectively, of Jinxin, the news outlet noted.
The Chinese assisted reproductive technology company is part of hospital developer and operator Chengdu Jinxin Healthcare Investment Management Group Ltd.
