AD Plastik Q2 profit climbs 11.0% YOY

AD Plastik d.d. said its normalized net income for the second quarter amounted to 7.9 million kuna, a rise of 11.0% from 7.1 million kuna in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 3.1% from 3.5% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 25.4% on an annual basis to 258.3 million kuna from 206.0 million kuna, and total operating expenses grew 22.6% year over year to 246.1 million kuna from 200.8 million kuna.

Reported net income came to 12.7 million kuna, compared with 11.4 million kuna in the prior-year period.

As of July 29, US$1 was equivalent to 6.89 kuna.
