A Texas-based division of Japanese IT services giant NTT DATA Corp. agreed to acquire Net eSolutions Corp., which provides IT services for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies.

Upon deal close, NTT DATA Inc. would add more than 300 employees. Net eSolutions Managing Director Sandeep Somaiya would be part of the NTT DATA public-sector leadership team.

The deal is expected to close near the end of 2019 and is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc. served as financial adviser to Net eSolutions.
