Thanapiriya Q3 profit falls YOY

Thanapiriya Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 1 satang per share, a decline of 78.5% from 5 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 6.0 million baht, a decrease of 35.6% from 9.3 million baht in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 1.8% from 3.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 14.4% on an annual basis to 327.1 million baht from 285.9 million baht, and total operating expenses grew 17.0% on an annual basis to 318.1 million baht from 272.0 million baht.

Reported net income declined 37.8% year over year to 7.7 million baht, or 1 satang per share, from 12.3 million baht, or 6 satang per share.
