A U.S. House panel asked Boeing Co. CEO Dennis Muilenburg and Chief Engineer of Commercial Airplanes John Hamilton to testify Oct. 30 regarding the grounded 737 MAX airplanes, Reuters reported.
The testimonies will be part of a congressional investigation into 737 MAX aircraft's development and certification, after the model was grounded following two fatal crashes.
The company is reviewing the U.S. House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee's request and intends to cooperate with regulators and Congress, Reuters reported, citing a statement from a Boeing representative.
