TERNA Q3 profit falls YOY

TERNA - Rete Elettrica Nazionale SpA said its third-quarter normalized net income came to €138.7 million, a decrease of 7.0% from €149.1 million in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin fell to 30.2% from 32.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue totaled €458.6 million, compared with €457.8 million in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses totaled €183.3 million, compared with €183.8 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income came to €145.0 million, or 7 cents per share, compared with €143.8 million in the prior-year period.
