OM2 Network Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal fourth quarter ended Jan. 31 was ¥55.02 per share, a gain of 46.7% from ¥37.50 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥375.0 million, an increase of 46.7% from ¥255.6 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 3.8% from 2.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥9.85 billion from ¥9.41 billion, and total operating expenses rose from the prior-year period to ¥9.28 billion from ¥9.03 billion.
Reported net income grew on an annual basis to ¥346.0 million, or ¥50.76 per share, from ¥139.0 million, or ¥20.39 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled ¥160.46 per share, a gain of 32.6% from ¥121.04 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was ¥1.09 billion, an increase of 32.6% from ¥825.0 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased year over year to ¥36.25 billion from ¥34.72 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥34.62 billion from ¥33.52 billion.
The company said reported net income rose 60.8% year over year to ¥976.0 million, or ¥143.19 per share, in the full year, from ¥607.0 million, or ¥89.05 per share.
As of April 30, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.69.
