Washington state pension fund commits $700M to 2 investments

The Washington State Investment Board committed $500 million to Evergreen Real Estate Partners LLC and up to $200 million to growth equity and buyout fund Centurium Capital Partners 2018 LP, Pensions & Investments reported.

The pension fund had previously committed $5.2 billion to Evergreen Real Estate, which is a portfolio company of investment manager Evergreen Investment Advisors LLC. Evergreen Investment was formed by M3 Capital Partners LLC and the pension fund.

Centurium Capital Partners is managed by Centurium Capital Management Ltd. and targets the Chinese consumer and healthcare sectors.
