Byline Bank EVP to retire; Univest Bank and Trust names SVP

Seneca Foods Executive Vice President and COO Paul Palmby was elected to the board of Beloit, Wis.-based Blackhawk Bancorp Inc.

Palmby is filling the board seat that was most recently held by Prudence Harker, whose retirement was effective upon Palmby's election.

Harker is president of LifeCircle LLC and investment adviser representative of AXA Advisors LLC, S&P Global Market Intelligence records show.


Bruce Lammers intends to retire as executive vice president of Byline Bank and president of Byline Small Business Capital, effective May 28.

Thomas Abraham will succeed Lammers in leading the bank's government guaranteed lending business. Abraham is currently senior vice president and Small Business Administration sales manager of Byline Small Business Capital.

Chicago-based Byline Bank is a unit of Byline Bancorp Inc.


Julie Young joined the boards of Clearfield, Pa.-based CNB Financial Corp. and unit CNB Bank.

Young is a human resources and employment attorney with JMY Law LLC.


Shannon Eusey and Michele Miyakawa were elected to the board of Costa Mesa, Calif.-based Pacific Mercantile Bancorp.

They will also become directors of Pacific Mercantile Bank.

Eusey is a co-founder of Beacon Pointe Advisors LLC and is its CEO and president. Miyakawa is a managing director and one of the founding members of Moelis & Co.


Tallahassee, Fla.-based Prime Meridian Holding Co. and unit Prime Meridian Bank elected Kenneth Compton to their respective boards.

Compton, 51, is the founder, president and CEO of Compton & Associates private wealth advisors.


Univest Bank and Trust Co. named Michael Valle senior vice president and commercial banking team leader.

Valle previously was team leader for Berkshire Bank's expansion into Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Univest also hired Michael Carpino and Robert Medlock as vice presidents and relationship managers. Carpino and Medlock both previously worked in the same positions at Berkshire Bank.
