Macquarie Group names head of equities for global asset management biz

Macquarie Group Ltd. named John Leonard head of equities for Delaware Investments, its global asset management business, effective March 3, 2017.

Leonard, who will be based in Philadelphia, will also serve on the firm's senior leadership team and global management committee. He comes to Macquarie Group from UBS Asset Management.

Delaware Investments President Shawn Lytle will continue as interim head of equities until Leonard assumes the role.
